For the first time ever, the Institute of Construction Advisors & Consultants is bringing our community together in person. Beyond the Blueprint is a first-of-its-kind gathering built for the professionals who advise, analyze, and advance the construction industry — project managers, schedulers, attorneys, accountants, and consultants of every discipline. This isn’t another conference where you sit through sessions written for someone else’s job. It’s a room full of people solving the same problems you are, across every specialty that touches a project.
And we’re not just talking. At Beyond the Blueprint, ICAC will unveil work on the data framework our members have been asking for — a shared foundation the industry has needed for years and hasn’t had until now. You’ll learn from peers who understand your challenges and make connections you can’t make on a video call. This is the event that sets the direction for what comes next. Register below for your opportunity to learn, grow, and drive change.

Mo Shana'a
About Mo
Mo co-founded Morta because controls and governance are broken in construction. While the industry talked about AI, robotics, 3D printing and digital transformation, the foundational control layer wasn’t working. Teams running complex projects on hundreds of disconnected spreadsheets, no real visibility over what’s happening, and endless manual admin holding everything together.
Morta is the connected controls and governance platform for AEC delivery. The name comes from mortar, the binding agent that holds construction together. We believe information can play that same role, giving organisations the visibility and accountability they need to deliver with confidence. We work with the people leading information management and project controls at organisations like ALEC, Kier, Mott MacDonald, Mace, and the Ministry of Justice — and we’ve built Morta with that community, not just for them. We’ve done that without VC backing to stay focused and aligned with what the industry actually needs.

FieldProof hunts that waste down, puts a number on it, and eliminates it in the right order. No software to sell. Just the outside set of eyes asking “help me understand why you do it that way,” because that’s usually where the money is hiding.
