Friday, April 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET

Learning Objectives

  1. Explain how standardized cost coding structures organize project data to enhance accuracy in financial reporting and forecasting.
  2. Demonstrate techniques for measuring labor productivity to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improved project performance.
  3. Apply contract-driven project controls to translate routine project data into defensible information for dispute prevention and effective financial governance.

Program Description

This session brings together several interconnected areas: cost coding structures, measurable labor productivity analysis, and contract-driven project controls to show how everyday project data can be transformed into credible, defensible information for forecasting, dispute avoidance, and financial governance. The focus is on the practical techniques that cost control and project controls teams rarely get formal training on but rely on daily during challenging projects.
