Former GM at the Construction Specifications Institute, and two time construction AI startup founder, Hugh has been building AI systems and products for over a decade, and consulting for associations and contractors for the last four.
Hugh is the author of AI in Construction, Leading Change, First Edition (2026), The Construction Technology Handbook (Wiley, 2021) and host of the Constructed Futures podcast, and developed Procore’s Data in Construction, and AI in Construction e-learning modules. He lives in Austin, Texas.
