Anne Anderson, CFE, is a Manager with Capital Project Management, Inc. (CPMI), an independent consulting firm specializing in the analysis, resolution, and prevention of complex construction disputes. Anne has more than 25 years of experience in auditing and accounting and specializes in the accumulation, evaluation, and measurement of construction damages, including damages associated with schedule delays and other construction-related claims. Her extensive background in preparing bids, tracking project costs, and invoicing for construction projects provides her with a practical understanding of construction accounting and cost documentation. She also has significant experience in grant compliance, accounting, and federal reporting.
Anne currently evaluates damages on a variety of complex construction disputes in the United States and Internationally that involve residential and multi-use, transportation infrastructure, data center and government projects. Her work includes preparing or rebutting evaluating damages related to alleged design errors and omissions, analyzing Owner damages for remediation or corrective work, additional work and Owner damages related to project delays, and preparing or rebutting claimed construction costs associated with lost profits, delay, and termination claims. She authors expert reports, supports report preparation, depositions for both fact and expert witnesses, assists clients with mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation. Anne earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration–Accounting from the University of Rhode Island and is a Certified Fraud Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
